2019 Livestock Foundation Agriculture Scholarship

Livestock Foundation has dedicated $1,000 to be awarded to a Delaware County student pursuing a career in agriculture.

Applications and essays are due on April 15. Awards will be announced by May 15.

Who is eligible? Students graduating from a Delaware County, New York high school in 2019, with acceptance to a college or university where they will pursue a career in agriculture.

How to apply:

  • Submit the form below

  • Email a 500 word essay to sonia@livestockfoundation.org that answers the following question: Why have you chosen to pursue a career in agriculture? Be sure to include the area of agriculture that you plan to study and why it is important to local farming.

  • Send a copy of college acceptance to sonia@livestockfoundation.org along with your essay

If you are unsure about whether you are eligible, email Sonia at sonia@livestockfoundation.org.

Be sure to click the "Submit" button at the end of the application. You will receive a confirmation on the screen after you have submitted. If we do not receive both this form and an email from the student’s email address, the application will be be considered incomplete. The essay and acceptance letter must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. on April 15, 2019 to be considered.
