THE WATERSHED & OUR COMMUNITIES PRESENT: Agriculture and the NYC Watershed
The second of three workshops designed to explore the past, present and future of the Watershed and our communities, the Livestock Foundation invites you to THE WATERSHED & OUR COMMUNITIES PRESENT: Agriculture and the NYC Watershed, a panel discussion with farmers, technical service agents and other community members playing a critical role in maintaining the water quality for NYC’s 9 million residents.
Following the panel discussion, Livestock Foundation’s Whole Farm Planner, Brian LaTourette of the Watershed Agricultural Council, will guide participants on a walk through the farm to demonstrate how Best Management Practices are implemented.
Admission is FREE.
This event is made possible with funds from the Catskill Watershed Corporation in partnership with New York City Department of Environmental Protection.
