The Town of Bovina, first settled in the 1790s, was created on February 25, 1820 by an act of the state legislature. Plans were well underway to celebrate this anniversary in 2020, but COVID-19 had other ideas.

The celebration of this milestone event finally will happen on July 30 and 31, 2022. The venue will be McIntosh's flat next to the creamery.
