The second of three workshops designed to explore the past, present and future of the Watershed and our communities, the Livestock Foundation invites you to THE WATERSHED & OUR COMMUNITIES PRESENT: Agriculture and the NYC Watershed, a panel discussion with farmers, technical service agents and other community members playing a critical role in maintaining the water quality for NYC’s 9 million residents.
Following the panel discussion, Livestock Foundation’s Whole Farm Planner, Brian LaTourette of the Watershed Agricultural Council, will guide participants on a walk through the farm to demonstrate how Best Management Practices are implemented.
Admission is FREE.
